International Walk to School Day

Thanks to everyone who came out and walked today!! It was super fun! Also...thank you Arpa and Aylin's mom for being my assistant photographer!

Meet me at the corner of Glenoaks and Geneva.
I will be there at 7:40.

You can park and walk from there. There will be plenty of adults there so you can even drop off your child if you need to.

Student Safety

Hi Mom's and Dad's,

In the morning there isn't student supervision by the classroom. Please have your child go straight to the line instead of the classroom. 

This is the same at am and pm recess. I have reminded them several times, yet I continue to find them by the classroom. 

All the kids need to stay in the supervised areas at all times for their own safety.

I caught Arman being a good friend. Now he's on the look out for the next person to get the badge! 

Dojo point booklet

I passed out the point booklets today. The kids need to choose a prizes or prizes that equal or near the number of points they have earned. Tomorrow we will reset the points to zero. The next point booklet will be coming soon!

Thanks for your support with this.  This is the first year I'm implementing prizes. It's been a little difficult but I think this will work the best!

What a fun day! 

Science Test

The kids didn't do as well as I'd like. I think the format of the test was confusing. It also tells me we need to spend some more time on the weather chapter.  I'm sending home the tests and the study packet tomorrow. Please look over the test then throw it away. Continue to read and study the packet together. We will take a similar test on Monday.

Book orders

Tomorrow I am sending home book order forms. This is a great way to get your child excited about reading. The choices are fun, age appropriate and inexpensive! Please place all your orders online by 10/10.
